AI Readiness is a new capability that demands cross-function confidence and coordination. In the context of AI for workforce planning and management, much of the work falls between traditional teams and capabilities, including HR, operations, IT and data.

We believe AI Readiness in a workforce context is distinct from related disciplines like People Analytics (making sense of what you already have), Workforce Transformation (change, culture and capability programmes), Organisational Design (building functional balance) and AI for HR (automating complex business administration). It sits closer to Data Strategy — because we're looking for what isn't there yet, and what can be trusted for decisions — and to AI Strategy, because readiness is the building block for any business trying to change how it delivers for customers, or lift productivity.
