Last updated: 27 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information this website collects, why, and what choices you have.

Who we are

This website, sightline-ai.co, is run by Olivier Vidal, trading as Sightline AI, a sole trader based in the UK. Olivier is the data controller for personal information collected through this site.

If you have a question about this policy or your information, email hello@sightline-ai.co.

What we collect

Information you give us. If you email us or use a form on this site, we receive your name, email address and anything you include, such as your company or role.

Call bookings. If you book a call through our booking link, Google Calendar collects your name, email address and any notes you add, and shares them with us so the call can go ahead.

Questionnaire answers. If you complete our discovery questionnaire, we receive your answers and any contact details you choose to give.

How you use the site. Squarespace, which hosts this site, records basic visit information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and the site that referred you.

LinkedIn Insight Tag. Only if you accept marketing cookies, LinkedIn collects information about your visit. We use this to understand which content is useful and to show relevant updates to visitors on LinkedIn. LinkedIn may connect this to your LinkedIn account. We see aggregated reports only, not individual visitors.

Why we use it

  • To reply to you and arrange calls. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests, or taking steps at your request before an engagement.
  • To run, secure and improve the site. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests.
  • For LinkedIn marketing cookies. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run this site and our business:

  • Squarespace, for website hosting, forms and analytics
  • Google, for email and calendar bookings
  • LinkedIn, for the Insight Tag, only with your consent
  • Our questionnaire provider, if you complete the discovery questionnaire

Some of these providers process data outside the UK, including in the US. Where they do, the transfer is protected by safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and correspondence for up to two years after our last contact. If we go on to work together, we keep records for as long as the engagement needs and then for up to six years for legal and tax purposes.

You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie preferences button at the bottom of any page. Squarespace publishes a full list of the cookies its sites use.
